It's quite wonderful to look back and see what our little band of WWC volunteers, led by Rose Jordan, accomplished on very short notice in a week or so:
- stepped up to the plate!
- taste-tested 3 recipes
- picked a clear winner
- transposed the recipe into a shopping list for 6 gallons
- met to chop, cook, simmer and taste
- made great use of our kitchen for a worthy organization in need of fundraising support
- met again yesterday in our blue aprons to provide support to WTF's fundraiser and serve our chili
- discovered Jo Luscombe's best western wardrobe (including RED LEATHER BOOTS) and dosey-doe
- also got to taste test everyone else's (thereby confirming beyond a reasonable doubt that ours was the best)
