Grants are given to non-profit organizations in Fairfield County for projects that will make a continuing difference in the community. They may be in the form of funds or a one-time use of the Westport Woman’s Clubhouse for an event. Grants are considered each year to deserving organizations in education, health and safety-related programs, and in the arts.
Please MAIL your application to us with the additional information requested below. All applications must be type-written and received by the Westport Woman's Club by January 15, 2025. Due to the number of applicants, we cannot accept requests by email. Organizations receiving a grant are expected to list the Westport Woman’s Club as a sponsor or donor. Grants are evaluated year by year, case by case. Monies may not be used for salaries. WWC may conduct a site-visit. The recipient may be invited to present the project outcomes to WWC.
On April 5, 2025, the Westport Woman’s Club will be hosting a fundraising Gala where we will honor distinguished women who have Paved the Way for community service, making a lasting contribution and remarkable impact throughout our history.
Our work requires dedicated members, active volunteers and financial support from friends that represent everything good in the Westport community. Nothing would please me more than to add your name to our list of proud sponsors who we will feature at our Westport Woman’s Club Gala celebration in the spring!
Please consider joining us by becoming a Sponsor today and reserve your seats to our exciting Gala which will be held at the Patterson Club on April 5, 2025.
Giving to us means giving to the community!
In 1907, a small group of Westport Women gathered to beautify the town’s muddy, manure-filled streets, planting trees and laying sidewalks. They put on a fair, raised money, and called themselves “The Women’s Town Improvement Association,” These first steps paved the way to becoming The Westport Woman’s Club and to more than a century of public philanthropy that is still going strong . Please give to help support our work into tomorrow!
Your contribution will be featured in the event program distributed to hundreds of influential individuals who share your commitment and support for the Westport Woman’s Club and the work we do!
