On April 5, 2025, the Westport Woman’s Club will be hosting a fundraising Gala where we will honor distinguished women who have Paved the Way for community service, making a lasting contribution and remarkable impact throughout our history.

In 1907, a small group of Westport Women gathered to beautify the town’s muddy, manure-filled streets, planting trees and laying sidewalks. They put on a fair, raised money, and called themselves “The Women’s Town Improvement Association,” These first steps paved the way to becoming The Westport Woman’s Club and to more than a century of public philanthropy that is still going strong .
