The 2025 WWC Scholarship Applications Are Now Open!

The Westport Woman’s Club, Inc. is thrilled to announce the opening of applications for our esteemed annual scholarship program for the year 2025. We are committed to supporting ambitious and deserving students by providing financial assistance that helps cover tuition costs for their higher education journey. This year, we continue our tradition of empowering students who demonstrate a combination of academic excellence, financial need, and active participation in school and community activities.

Here's What You Need to Know:

Application Deadline: Ensure your applications are submitted by Friday, April 4, 2025, by 4:00 PM. Applications received after the deadline or not 100% completed will not be considered.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Open to students who demonstrate significant financial need.
• Applicants must have an academic GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Must be in a matriculating program of at least 2 years in length.
• Consideration will be given to your efforts in contributing to your educational expenses, as well as your engagement in school and/or community activities.

Application Packet Must Include:

1. Completed application form
   • Applicant Information
   • Activity Resume
   • Personal Statement
   • College Information
   • Financial Information
2. FAFSA Submission Summary
3. Official High School Transcript (4 years).
4. Letter of Recommendation from your Guidance Counselor or a Staples HS teacher.

Special Music Scholarship

Are you involved in music at Staples? We have one exclusive scholarship for students demonstrating outstanding involvement and achievements in music who wish to continue their music study or participation in college. If you believe you’re a candidate, make sure you explain your musical involvement in no more than 100 words.

Email your completed application along with your FAFSA Submission Summary to wwc@westportwomansclub.org using the subject line “2025 WWC Scholarship Submission + [Your Name]”.

All information provided will be treated with the utmost confidentiality by the Westport Woman’s Club and the scholarship committee.
