Volunteers are needed to work at this year’s Blues, Views & BBQ Festival on Saturday, Sept. 1 & Sunday, Sept. 2. Our ‘job’ is very easy – sitting behind a table at the entrance booths, collecting the admission fees. The Festival is held on the upper parking lot of the Westport Library and the Levitt Pavilion.
The BBQ Festival, a community-wide event, is in its 5th year, and the Club received generous grants each of those years from the Downtown Merchants Assoc, the organizer. And this year our Food Closet will again be the beneficiary of the funds raised from the Festival’s “Cookin’ for a Cause.”
By volunteering at the Festival, we are expressing our appreciation and gratitude for the thousands of dollars that the Club has received, as well as showing support for a community event.
