On behalf of the Westport Woman’s Club, we want to thank Cristina Negrin of In Good Taste for her participation in the WWC’s Holiday Meals Program. Thanks to Cris and the volunteer delivery efforts of Jack and Jeanne Klinge’s family and friends, 24 delicious Thanksgiving meals were prepared and delivered this year to homebound Westport residents. The Holiday Meal Program, funded and coordinated by the WWC in collaboration with the Westport Town Department of Human Services, provides catered meals to Westporters unable to leave their homes or to prepare their own meals on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Days.
This year’s Christmas meals will once again be provided by The Wild Pear and the New Year’s meals will be catered by The Sherwood Diner. The continued generosity of these three caterers and all of the volunteer drivers is deeply appreciated. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your ongoing commitment and partnership.
