Bobbie Herman, a Westport Woman’s Club Board Member, shared a talk and slide presentation on her recent trip to Vietnam and Cambodia with club members attending the October luncheon. Through photos and words, Ms. Herman chronicled her travels through these beautiful countries where historical buildings and monuments are testament to their long history, and interactions with the people shed light on the daily life and diverse cultures that thrive within them. While ruins, museums and statues document years of war, the residents were warm and welcoming. Said Ms. Herman, “I got an incredible education and left with a lifetime of memories.”
