On Thursday, Sept. 17, 5:30-7 pm, The Westport Woman's Club, at its historic Bedford Hall, 44 Imperial Avenue, will host the next Westport-Weston Chamber of Commerce "Business After Hours." The event offers the social philanthropic Westport Woman's Club, a non-profit member of the WWCC, an opportunity to introduce local businesses to rental options of WWC facilities, which comprise Bedford Hall (c. 1866) with attached commercial kitchen, along with parts of the main clubhouse, the c.1881 Queen-Anne-style Sidney Watts House.
Revenues from rentals of WWC facilities help fund grants to selected "here and near" community service organizations and need-based scholarships to Staples HS graduates.
